CAROLINE GODFREY (ACAI)

Caroline has been a dog owner since 2001, sharing her life with Border Collies.

She started agility training in 2005 and joined Severnside in 2008.  Very keen to become more involved in many aspects she became an instructor and joined  the committee.

In 2009, Caroline attended the Agility Club Instructor’s seminar and passed the exam to gain become an Agility Club Approved Instructor (ACAI). She has taught all levels of agility and regularly attends other agility training and workshops.

Caroline also has an interest in canine behaviour and has studied behaviour and learning theory. She also teaches puppy class and basic training classes and has fostered many puppies for the RSPCA.

JULIAN KRAUTMANN

Julian has been an instructor as well as the club’s treasurer since the club formed in 1988.  Julian shares his life with German Shepherds.

Julian has a wealth of experience that he has gained over the years, watching agility evolve.  He’s taught all levels and all breeds in agility.  His skills of training his dogs to weave is something we all envy.  Each German Shepherd he’s owned has presented him with a different challenge and he has been able to use this experience to help club members with the challenges they have faced.

BRENDAN SWEENEY (ACAI)

Brendan has been a club member, committee member and instructor for many years.  He shares his agility partnerships with Border Collies, a Cockerpoo and a West Highland Terrier.  He is the most positive and optimistic person, always ensuring his training sessions are FUN and tailored to each individual in his group.

Brenan has attended the Agility Club Instructor’s seminar and passed the exam to gain become an Agility Club Approved Instructor (ACAI). He has taught all levels of agility and regularly attends other agility training and workshops.

MARTIN WATTS

Martin joined Severnside in 2013 having been successful in agility competitions and wanting to share his knowledge and experience in a club.  He’s an enthusiastic member who regular attends other agility training and brings the passion of what he’s learnt into the club.  Martin strives to get the best out of every partnership in the club and enjoys bringing new challenges and experiences to share with members.

SUE YEO (ACAI)

Sue has been a club member and instructor for many years, as well as holding different positions on the committee.  Sue has owned, trained and competed a variety of breeds over the years, including Border Collies, West Highland Terriers and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.  Sue is another one of our instructors who has competed at Crufts, making it into the main arena as part of our team in the agility team finals.

Sue has attended the Agility Club Instructor’s seminar and passed the exam to gain become an Agility Club Approved Instructor (ACAI). She has taught all levels of agility.

ANTHONY BRAY ACAI

Anthony has been involved in agility for some years now.  He’s a familiar face out on the circuit as he always has numerous judging appointments booked.

Anthony has a variety of breeds of dog at home, giving him a broad knowledge.  He is now keen to share his knowledge and help agility partnerships blossom.  He has recently qualified as an Agility Club Approved Instructor.
