At Severnside we have a number of junior handlers (aged between 7 - 15) who train and compete with both their own, and other people's dogs. This page is for them and for the rest of the club to keep abreast of our next generation of handlers. If you are one of the club's younger handlers and would like to post anything on this page, please e-mail Gemma Fisher with your news. This could be success at a recent show, a new addition to the household or simply how you are getting along at training. Pictures would also be welcomed - look forward to receiving your contributions. Click here to see Rhianna & Scrapper at Crufts in 2006 Rhianna
Harman and Scrapper 1st place - qualified for semi final at Crufts Crufts Results! Firstly an apology for the delay in getting Rhianna & Gemma's results up on this page. I'm sure you'll all be proud to learn that neither pair disgraced themselves; Rhianna & Scrapper picked up only 5 faults for an early jump off the see-saw, which was better than Gemma & Toby who gained ten for a run past the tunnel and a mistake in the weaves. There is film footage on DVD of the rounds if anyone is interested in seeing it, please just e-mail Gemma or see her at club. Thanks to all those members who came to watch whilst they were at Crufts on the Friday and Saturday - support is always appreciated! Crufts News!
Toby (owned by Susan Fisher and handled by her daughter Gemma), is off to Crufts on Saturday 12th March to compete in the Young Kennel Club's Senior Agility. Also off to Crufts is Rhianna Harman with Scrapper (owned by Sue Yeo), who will be competing in the Mini Agility on Friday 11th March. Both dogs are classed as "Minis" but as those who know them will testify, they are both full of character! Golden
Valley Agility Show (19th/20th June'04) One
of our youngest members recently competed at this show with Sue Yeo's
Westie, Scrapper. Together they gained a very respectful 7th place. As
well as competing individually, both competed in the the club's Young
Kennel Club team alongside Stefan Russ with Bobby, Jack Russ with Pepsi
and Gemma Fisher with Lucy. The team would like to thank Sue Yeo for sponsoring
their entry, and more importantly - for the ice creams after their runs!!
